After you've gone through an introductory text, http://www.buildyourownlisp.com/ is a cool way to put your skills into practice.

Shouldn't we only post links to projects when they make releases? GLFW has been around for years, and anyone doing GL work has most likely heard of it. Not to say I don't like it, but this submission doesn't really add any discussion to the site like a post about new features or bugfixes in a release would be.
If you want to do that, post some of the cool stuff that you can do with graphics programming. There are tons of interesting topics in this area, but graphics libraries really aren't going to catch anyone's eye.
