Have you never heard of [Embrace, Extend, Extinguish?](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Embrace,_extend,_and_extinguish) This was their actual business strategy against Linux not so far back.
They might not want either of them, but they're willing to shit-can both for some reason and pay money for the privilege.

Voice recognition was made with AI, as it's easier to build a self-learning system with a bunch of data to build a model. But nothing about this drive-through is, self-learning, or AI. If the end-products that were created with AI, are themselves considered AI, then hooooooboooooy, a whole hell of a lot of stuff is now AI.
