Comment on: DuckDuckGo presses the case for true ‘one-click’ search competition on Android
Because it uses other search engines as sources? The point of ddg is that other search engines don't track you; it's like a vpn for search engines. It's about privacy

I thinl we should start to copypaste the full article here from now on instead of just putting the link. I'm too lazy to go to another site

Oh i didn't know they were federated (i didn't use gab), but there is no point in giving up with mastodon. I mean, if they make their own site, people should have to enter there to watch it; in mastodon, even people from instances where Gab is blocked could watch their content if they follow them (and people could sign up on their instance just as they would do on a website). That's why i think mastadon is cool: instances could block you from their feed, but you can still run your server freely with your own rules (as long as you don't post anything illegal like child pornography)

yeah, the most known instances are pretty leftist. That's why i think they should create their own instance, so they could set their own rules without getting banned by anyone; the only thing other instances (like mastodon.social or mastodon.online) could do, is kind of shadowbanning them from their feed, but you could still see their content if you actively follow them. (i hope you could understand what i tried to say and sorry for any grammar mistake)

I can't understand why no one is using Mastodon. They should create their own instance
