Absolutely agree. I joined because I've had some comment censoring in the past, but this sub is the most toxic circlejerk on the site outside of t_d. It's a bunch of kids complaining about getting banned from subs because of racism, homophobia, etc.

I mean, yeah, there definitely is a bit of politics on r/frenworld but it's pretty easy to ignore for the most part.

That'll be a sad day. I might not have agreed with some of the political stuff on clown world (you can't deny that there really was some alt-right people on there) but it really was just basically a stupid troll thing from 4chan. r/frenworld doesn't involve itself with politics. It actively tries to remove honkler/clown content and generally is super wholesome.

I believe a blanket ban on users of subs they percieve as right-leaning, which I am not. I never made posts with any political connotation, I podted in hopes of some support after a friend took his own life. Edit: went and read the rule: "no children." Seems backwards to me considering the podt they banned me for.

Context: I'm a member of r/frenworld because ignoring the minor political connotations some posts have, it's one of the most supportive and wholesome communities on this website. The mods convienently chose to ignore the fact that I have said, and will continue to say I am left leaning. Instead, they looked at my post history and saw I had a post in frenworld. A post about a friend who had killed himself. I was not doing great and Frenworld was a place for me to go. I recieved only support from those who replied. r/Fuckthealtright mods, fuck you guys. You chose to ignore the fact that I'm clearly not there for the politics, and decided to ban me becuase you're a bunch of Chapo idiots. Really, fuck you. I hope you get banned for posting in hope of recieving some support after a tragedy.

Yeah, I've personally watched both live GDQ events as well as archives on YouTube and there's loads of female runners. There is a small, toxic minority in the community, but that's all it is. A minority. 99% of the community doesn't care about your gender, just your times, and maybe your attitude if you're at GDQ.

I went on that thread before they locked it, it was just civil discussion. But I guess because the entire comment section wasn't "mah wamen in games" they had to lock it. Like, big whoop, women in speedrunning. Loads of girls speedrun, no one cares.
