Comment on: Zoom to pay $85M for lying about encryption and sending data to Facebook and Google | Ars Technica
At the end of the day there is nothing that Facebook and Google will not do to get to your information. It is no surprised that Zoom lied like it did.

Comment on: Reddit removed 6% of all posts made last year
I was exiled by one guild because I suspect that the kid was twelve years old. I haven't seen the level of narrative control on Ruqqus that I saw on Reddit. I don't feel like I'm going to get exiled because I have a different opinion. I can't say that about Reddit.

That's why I am on Ruqqus. What is the point on being on an online platform only to have you thoughts and words censored? You can have Reddit. If you can't share your thoughts and opinions why bother?

I don't have a problem with those guilds. As a fervent anti communist Republican those guilds don't hold any interest for me but they have every right to state their positions and not be censored. I support their right to exist without pressure to conform to me or anybody else.

I agree. Especially considering I'm a right winger. I just don't want to see the censorship shoe switch feet. I also don't want to live in a different universe but in the same country as the other half.

This is not good. Parler shouldn't just be right wing twitter. It should have been a free speech platform.

Comment on: Twitter Employees Reportedly Donated 64 Times More Cash to Biden's Campaign Than to Trump's
And this is surprising how? Anybody with working though processes knows that Big Tech has a working alliance with the Democratic party. This isn't news but it is always nice to know that particulars. It doesn't bother how much money that the employees of Twitter gave to a Presidential candidate. What bothers me is these employees using a Section 230 protected platform to influence the election and censor dissenting voices. Big Tech is evil. All I can do is not use their platforms and buy their bullshit.

Comment on: Google Play deletes over 150,000 Robinhood app reviews after frustrated users leave one-star ratings
Smh. If Robinhood isnt careful they make lose their clients. I'm surprised Wall Street has allowed Robinhood to be as long as it has been. IMHO, Robinhood is between a rock and a hard place. Yes, the are bastards for blocking trading but I get the impression that there is outside pressure. Think about it, if the billionaires pressured Reddit and Discord, would pressurizing RH make sense.

Comment on: Pirate Bay Founder Thinks Parler’s Inability to Stay Online Is ‘Embarrassing’
You sir have a point. Parler says it will be back online in a week but we will see. I think and as conservative right winger that we as a digital community are going to have to build the infrastructure from scratch. It is going to be difficult in this environment but in order to have free speech we will need protected digital infrastructure and means of communication. The Left views anything the disagrees with their orthodoxy as hateful. Governments and powerful people don't censor lies they censor the truth. The Tech Lords and their allies have powerful tools to censor and control thought. It is going to be a long fight.

Just the excuse to deplatform. This is all part of a digital purge. It is just time to build up parallel digital infrastructure. It is unnerving how much control a few people have.
