While I am not a professional programmer(a novice at best), I do think that it is wise for anyone to learn more than one way to eat. These journalist who have sucked the tit of mediocrity for so long, just to win brownie points from the masters guild of propaganda are receiving the rude awakening that they so desperately needed. Those who cannot improvise, adapt or overcome, should look elsewhere. Lets face it. There are few good journalist out there. Yes, all of this will hurt the Linux machine as a whole. Just when I thought that perhaps the last bastion of free enterprise and thought was safe, we are to be bombarded with this horse shit. I agree with others, in that there needs to be a core group of volunteers who love the OS, but will not tolerate such nonsense. I think in the end, this will help the Linux community identify more sound minded and talented people, who have some FUCKING SENSE. I love Linux and I really do enjoy Debian.
