The few Go projects I have read about (outside of Google) ended up moving to Rust after getting cut on the sharp edges of Go.

I'll have to check it out. I switch from so many different text styles (SQL query, router config, xml , powershell, bash, etc) all the time that notepad++ is about perfect for me.

Although I have to say, BBEdit on the mac was about the best text editor I have every used.
