Very much so! It may be considered a script language, but it's still programming, and it's both powerful and expressive! It's a joy to code, really, and I heartily recommend it!

Having a basic understanding of Vim will at least serve you well if you do any work at all on Linux machines, so it can be incredibly useful to at least get started!
Surely reverse racism is the same as not being racist at all? This is madness. :S
