Seems like the PC crowd who successfully infiltrated mainstream culture now wants to do the same with other sub cultures like tech, gaming and science. All dominated by men. The perfect target for their "re-education".

These people are fierce ideologues and zealots. They want everyone to bow to their world view and standards.

You all should really read Eric Raymonds take on this. This might really be just a very clever form of political infiltration.
