I don't know if they're taking any kind of stand, but they aren't infected yet. It's the best option I see for now until we start throwing all the SJWs off of the roofs.

You could just use Devuan instead. Debian without systemd or SJWs.
Comment on: Release status : SNAFU
The -- makes anything after it into a comment which is ignored by the database. This prevents the remainder of the original command from making the whole thing invalid.
Comment on: Release status : SNAFU
A smartass walks into the bar and orders a '); drop table users; --.
Comment on: When all your senior devs leave and you're left with fucking nigger-brained idiots
I agree, you should blow your brains out. Be sure to livestream it, or nobody will care.
Comment on: I have a problem with some Java code
I don't see anything wrong with it. I'd leave out the "&& x == z" as that's redundant, but it shouldn't cause any problems.
Some thoughts:
- Are x, y, and z all ints? This would all be very wrong if they were objects instead of primitives.
- Could something be going on in the earlier part of the if statement?
- You say "return a 5." I assume you mean "add 5 to point1" since this is obviously not returning anything. Could the value be added somewhere else in the code?
Comment on: FreeBSD adopts a 'Code of Conduct', based on the example in Feminism Wiki, talking about systemic oppression etc.
So much for the "free" part of FreeBSD.
Comment on: Apparently, they don't want to hire people that knows about HTTPS.
Then you shouldn't want to work there.
Comment on: Quick question for you nerds
Everything gets upvoats. The people selling downvoats upvoat other posts to get around the stupid rule that you can't give out more downvoats than upvoats.

You already have them. The internets were within you the whole time!
Comment on: How to Shoot Yourself in the Foot (with various languages, operating systems, etc)
I suppose that would've worked better. I didn't spend too much time on it.
Comment on: How to Shoot Yourself in the Foot (with various languages, operating systems, etc)
This was funny until I got to <insert language of choice> after which it was totally stupid and wrong!
Comment on: Is there a local server deployment package called WANG? (Windows, Apache, NoSql, and Go)
Waddaya mean, "Accidental"?
Comment on: Programming for a Year and Need Direction
Nothing counts as much as actual professional experience. Working on open source projects and getting certifications can help a little, but what companies really care about is whether someone else has been willing to pay you. If you can't find a job on your own, talk to a consulting company. It's easier to let them do the job searching when you're new. Also, they might be willing to invest some money into you if they think you'll make them money in the future. A previous colleague of mine was switching to programmer from DBA, and the consulting company let the client hire him and another consultant in a two-for-one deal for a couple months. After that, he had not only proven himself, he also had legitimate experience he could use to get another job later.

I bet they'd like to have this on http://opengameart.org.

Comment on: Anybody own a Raspberry Pi? Care to share any cool projects you've done on it?
I use a Raspberry Pi 2 as a media player running OpenElec. The only real project was adding an IR receiver to it, and that was pretty simple.
Comment on: Nobody cares about your code
This is nonsense. Sure, the company you work for might not care about your code, but the other programmers you work with absolutely do. They have to deal with what you write, good or bad. And someday, they're going to be the people who decide whether they want to recommend you for that great opening at their new company. So yes, important people do care about your code.
I only drink NassTea.
